Hon. Busayo Oluwole Oke is a ranking member of the Federal House of Representatives. He represents Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, Osun State and is currently the Chairman, House Committee on Public Accounts. He had served previously as the Chairman, House Committee on Public Procurement and Chairman, House Committee on Defence

In addition to being a Federal legislator, Hon Oluwole Oke is also an accountant, economist, lawyer, more importantly a tax practitioner and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and the Institute of Management Consultants.

He has as his Legislative Interests in Fiscal and Monetary Policies, Education, Security and Defence Management, Micro Economic Management, Co-operation and Integration in West Africa. In line with this his target is to ensure the promotion of a healthy economy and policy in Nigeria, provision of adequate security, Education and Health Care for all Nigerians.

Hon Wole is known to be a detribalized Nigerian, this is evident in his ability to fluently speak English, Hausa, Igbo and his native Yoruba.

  • Hon. Oluwole Oke has sponsored the passage of very important Bills, including the Pension Commission (Amendment) Act, 2011, which exempted members of the Armed Forces and Intelligence Agencies from the application of the Contributory Pension Scheme. He was also on the team that worked on bills to drive the reform of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, which culminated in the passage of the following Acts:

    - Federal Inland Revenue Act 2007;
    - Companies Income Tax (Amendment) Act 2007;
    - Personal Income Tax (Amendment) Act 2007;
    - Petroleum Profit Tax (Amendment) Act 2007;
